Mini Childbirth Class (group, snack size!) and Mini Photo Session

This is a short class where you’ll learn BIG strategies! Held in a small group setting in downtown St. Pete near the Morean’s Chihuly Collection, you can join one of the quick classes offered below. A mini photo session is available before or after class.

St Pete 2025 childbirth class options:
Sunday, November 16th, 10am to 12:30pm
Saturday, December 6th, 10am to 12:30pm
Wednesday, December 17th, 12pm to 2:30pm

Space is limited to 4-6 people in each class. Pregnant people and their birth partners should attend together. The reservation fee is for 2 seats. We’re always LGBTQ+ inclusive, owned, and operated.

Based on years of experience helping clients prepare for childbirth, my small group class provides evidence-based education and plenty of support from a busy birth doula of 17+ years. This small group class is short but mighty, reviewing:

  • Practical strategies for a relaxed childbirth experience in any medical facility

  • Options to lessen the risk of a C-section (Hospital rates)

  • Tools for your partner to coach you during labor (How-to Hero tips)

  • Support and advice to advocate for your wishes (5 Reasons for Support)

  • Comfort measures for labor and birth

Take this class between gestational weeks 28-38. The sooner the better, so you’ll have time to absorb the handout materials to create your birth plan and list of preferences.

A mini-photo session is included for free! There is time for 1 session before class begins and 1 after class is finished.
